We have all been there, worrying about those ding dang goals we did not keep. But for reals people, where does that get you? Yesterday is over, bye bye, see ya later alligator. The three words that I have learned to live by these last few years are “LIVE FOR NOW”. Yesterday is in the the past. Let’s work on TODAY. Change can only happen in the now. So the great news is, you did not fail, you get a chance to start again right now and make that goal.

We live in a world of goal-setting and  always working on being better tomorrow than we were today. All too often though, our commitments can fall by the wayside. Life intervenes and bam things go in different paths then we expected.  We usually end up exchanging the important to address the urgent.  Maybe a better question to ask is this, “what can I do today that will improve my tomorrow?” It might be eating better, exercising more, treating all people with respect, or telling your friends and family how much you love them. Today will only be a waste if you choose to not do something that will make your tomorrow better.

The beautiful thing about all of this is we all have now. If you are reading this then this is your chance. Start right now, this very instant and let go of any judgments you have placed on yourself. Remember what you do today can and improve all of your tomorrows.

You got this!

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows
