Yep its true you can do it. These are sure to be a crowd pleaser and they are so simple. 5 ingredients is all you need to whip up this protein packed delight. Ever since we started making our peanut and almond butter I am always looking for recipes to incorporate them into. Today I was craving a cookie to go with my my pumpkin spice tea. These were so simple. Mike is usually the one that makes the almond/peanut butter in our house. He has a knack for getting it just the right texture and taste. Check out how he does it here.
Grain Free Almond Butter/Peanut Butter Cookies
These are so simple.
1/2 Cup Almond Butter
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder ( we use this one)
2/3 Cup Coconut Palm Sugar (This is my favorite one)
Preheat oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Mix all the ingredients together and drop teaspoon size cookies on to the sheet. I like to roll them sometimes in my hand and then give them a little pat down. If you want a perfect looking cookie then do it this way. Who wants a perfect cookie looking cookie every time though right?
Now go brew some tea or coffee and get that novel you have been wanting to dig into, plop on the couch and enjoy your well deserved break.
