What you say, gluten free, dairy free, grain free and raw? Wait for it….. and only 70 calories per wrapper??? I have to say I am in love with this new product from Julian Bakery here in California.
The Paleo Wrap is one of the most ingenious products I have tried in quite some time. Our home as you know is gluten free and we are really trying to go grain free as well. This is a difficult task when you are trying to make something like a sandwich. There is a similar product on the market that I have tried in the past and it was way too coconutty for my taste buds. These wraps have a wonderful taste and they also hold up beautifully to whatever filling I place inside. They look like they might tear but honestly I have yet to tear one. They are super hearty. Here is the nutrition breakdown of these wrappers.

Look at those ingredients! Two things, now that is eating clean. Another benefit to these wraps is their shelf life. If you don’t place the package in the direct sunlight they can last you up to 9 months on your counter. I can guarantee they will not last that long as you will find multiple ways to use these beauties. Here are just a few ways we have used them in our house:
- Filled with grilled chicken breast
- Filled with grilled veggies
- Stuffed with scrambled eggs and avocado
- Used it as a taco shell and filled it with our Mexican food favorites
- Stuffed with fresh strawberries and greek yogurt
These are just a few of the ways that you can use The Paleo Wrap but the possibilities are really as large as your imagination will take it.
One final note, these wrappers are excellent when used for making lunches on the go. I send them with Mike all the time for lunch while at work. They would also be an excellent choice for kids’ lunches.
If you are in Southern California I would stop by their bakery. They have two locations: 1 in Oceanside and 1 in La jolla . If you are not in Southern California then check out their website. They are always running some type of promotion. If you try them, can you please leave a comment and give me your feedback?
