Mike and I are doing this new program from Beachbody called the 21 Day Fix. It is a killer program that incorporates portion control and exercise. We are loving it. We are on day 5 and we both have lost almost 5 pounds. The most amazing things is we are eating great food, never feeling hungry and we are exercising 30 minutes each day. This program is a perfect example of how we all should be living our lives. We don’t have to kill ourselves by starving our bodies and we don’t have to workout hours upon hours a day. We will do an official review of this program when we are finished so you can all get a better flavor of what it is about. In the meantime I wanted to share one of the recipes you get for a snack.  It is yummo.  There are a bunch of different options. Check out my post here for another one of the treats we have enjoyed.

High Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Snack Bars

4 Scoops of Chocolate Shakeology
2 Cups of Quick Cooking Gluten Free Oats
1/2 Cup Chopped Raw Peanuts
1/2 Cup of Golden Raisins
1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 Cup of All-Natural Creamy Peanut Butter

Combine Shakeology, oats, peanuts and raisins in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
Add almond milk and peanut butter; mix well.
Press mixture into an 8×8-inch baking pan; cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Cut into 24 bars.

It is going to be tempting to cut these bars bigger than they need to be. Try and make 24 out of the pan. It was super hard for me. They are very filling and rich and honest engine you do not need a large amount.
