The first wine I want to talk to you about is my FAVORITE. It is La Ferme Julien Vin Rosé and it is $4.99 a bottle.   This rosé contains a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault grapes. Its pale pink color is a prescient precursor to its taste—a profile with profound lightness. It’s dry (but not exceedingly so), with subtle fruit, and an exquisite finish. Mike and I love this wine when it is super chilled.  It is our go-to wine when we go to the beach for a picnic. It is a screw top too so it is a win-win. My second favorite  Rosé at Trader Joe’s is the VINTJS Monterey Pinot Noir Rosé at $6.99. Delish stuff.

The next wine on our list is Big Churn Chardonnay. This one is Mike’s favorite. He loves buttery chardonnays and they are VERY hard to find under $10. You can get this almost anywhere but Trader Joe’s has the best price. This Chardonnay has buttery popcorn aromas, with white fruit, red apple and a touch of vanilla. Juicy and fleshy on the palate, rounded body, with medium acidity and a smooth, juicy finish. Our wine palates are a little different on this one. I actually think it is a little oaky but he swears he tastes more butter. To me, this wine has a little pepper taste to it which I love. Our second favorite chardonnay is the Kirkland Brand from Costco, it is $6.99 a bottle.

The last wine I want to share with you today is quickly moving up my list.  It is from Sauvignon Republic Cellars. I am a huge fan of Sauvignon Blancs. This is not always available at Trader Joe’s so grab a  few bottles next time you see it.  For some reason I prefer dry wines, red and white. I much prefer Sauvignon Blancs from New Zeland over any other region. This is a crisp tasty wine that has just the perfect amount of acidity for me. It has a slight grassy taste and just enough grapefruit flavor to mellow it out. It is a winner in my house.  It is $7.99. My second favorite Sauvignon Blanc is from Picton Bay. It is $8 dollars a bottle
