Yippy I am almost done with week one of my 21 Day Fix Extreme Journey.  I can not believe how much I am loving this program. My happiness probably comes from a bunch of things to be honest with you. I was in need of a change with my workouts and my eating habits. You all know I eat healthy but I was feeling a little in a rut. Mike and I had also got in a habit of enjoying a bottle of wine each night with dinner and trust me it sounds harmless but it adds up on the hips. I have embraced this 21 days with the chance to create new recipes, explore new foods, re- introduce my nightly meditation back into my routine and mix up my workout schedule. I was getting into a rut of doing the same workouts each day and although I loved them my muscles needed some confusion time 🙂

I want to thank you again for coming along with me on these last few days. It truly helps me be accountable knowing you are all out there. I hope you will consider joining me one of these days. Dinner-2 Potato Tortillas with grilled Cod, Black Beans and topped with Avocado and Pea Guacamole and a side of grilled Asparagus.

1 Yellow, plus a little more for the black beans, 1/2 Red, 1/2 Blue and 1 Green (Mixing avocado and frozen peas is a great way to fluff up your guacamole)

All in all a fantastic day. I went a tad over on the greens and yellows but not much 🙂  Tomorrow is day 7. I am anxious to see how I do with yoga.  I am hoping it is just what my back and hip need.
