Day 5 is in the bag. I swear this is not as hard as I remember the original being. I think it is because I know what to expect, at least with the food part of it. The workouts are very challenging but I am really digging them. Sometimes I amaze myself at how hard I am pushing. Its funny how you don’t always realize how much strength you have.

I truly think the fact that they are only 30 minutes is what saves me. I have tried to do workout programs that are longer and it is amazing how the excuse train starts showing up each day. I am a 30 minute kinda gal. Now I can do doubles but mentally I want to know I finished a workout and then I can pick to hit play and go for another if I want. It is a mind game for sure but it works for me. I still remember friends asking me if they thought I was really getting a good workout in only 30 minutes. HA HA they get it now as a few of them are actually doing the program with me in the accountability group I run. There has been a lot of research that shows you can get a great effective workout in those 30 minutes. Check out these sites and see for yourself.

Snack- Coconut unsweetened plain yogurt with homemade fix grain free granola (OMG unsweetened coconut yogurt is horrid) I did not count the berries because I took them out of the allotment I had counted for my salad

Dinner-Spiral zucchini, spaghetti squash and artichoke hearts topped with grilled salmon and a side of sweet potato (I used coconut aminos as the dressing on the noodles)

Moving on to day 6. I have to honestly tell you I feel so good. I am not missing my wine at all and we all know that is BIG for me.
